Role Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented International Business Development Executive to support and grow our global client base. The candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, connecting with international clients, and assisting in export/import-related processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in Business Development / International Sales / Export-Import (Internship experience is acceptable)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Basic understanding of international trade and export/import processes
- Ability to interact confidently with international clients
- Good research and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, International Business, or related field
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential international markets and business opportunities
- Generate and qualify leads through online platforms, databases, and networking
- Communicate with international clients via email, calls, and virtual meetings
- Understand client requirements and provide suitable service offerings
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and business presentations
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution of client requirements
- Support documentation and compliance processes related to export/import
- Maintain client relationships and follow up on leads regularly
- Track and update lead status, client interactions, and sales pipeline
- Stay updated with global market trends and trade regulations
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Knowledge of export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, etc.)
- Familiarity with platforms like LinkedIn, Alibaba, or trade portals for lead generation
- Basic knowledge of Incoterms and global trade practices
- Experience in email communication with international clients
- Understanding of CRM tools
